Rare magazine's Bridal Fashion Show 2008
Rare Magazine hosted it's annual Bridal Fashion Show March of 2008 at Laguna Gloria Monument; Austin's beautiful nature preserve. The event showcased some of Austin's most gorgeous wedding gowns and brides maids collections from Austin's prestigious wedding vendors. I styled hair for all the models in this gallery. I had no idea how extravagant this show was going to be. From the beautiful location to the ambiance of the entire event, I was stunned.
The show was pure inspiration for my upcoming fashion show that took place April, 2008-- (see Run A Way into Spring in Prodcutions).
LA Fashion Week: October 2008
I got to style hair and be apart of the amazing Mercedes-Benz Fashion Show, also known as LA Fashion Week. It took place in October 2008, showcasing the upcoming Spring's fashions at Smashbox Studios in Culver City. I styled hair for all models shown in this gallery. Alongside my team of stylists from Studio DNA, we completed all the looks for designer, Deborah Davenport. It was an intense-energy packed evening, one I will never forget. We had 2 hours to style 30 models and our team of 7 stylists made it happen! We were provided with the beautiful flowers that completed some of the looks.
Inland Empire Photoshoot
I styled hair for a personal photo shoot that took place in Long beach, CA in November 2008. I worked with two amazing photographers, Stephen Ashby and Thomas Breed. The models were updating their portfolios, and it was a fun photo shoot that allowed me to be creative with each model.
